I hope your week is going well. I wanted to let any local people know that my magazine-Aiken House & Gardens is going to be available at Lori's shop Timeworn Treasures and Antiques 142 St Peter's Rd. On Saturday May 25th from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. ,Lori and some friends have arranged a fun 'open house' with refreshments etc. and I will be available to sign any copies if you so desire. So, drop in and browse around the shop and say hello ~ I am sure it will be a fun time!

It is so nice to have pretty bouquets to pick from the garden again.Our first tour of the season went really well-it was a small tour of lovely ladies from Japan who wanted the opportunity to visit in an Island home and practice their English and they did very well! They even sang a beautiful song to us in both english and japanese to express their appreciation. One of the ladies was a very young looking 80 years old.It was a great way to start the season!
