Early Summer Garden Tour

    Hello everyone,
                                                       The sun is shining here today so it
                                                       is a good time to tour the garden.
        The Miss Canada lilac(left) is in
 bloom now and the french 
    lilacs are pretty much passed.

                                                                     It is lupine season on the
                                                                     Island now so you will see
                                                                    them growing wild in the ditches
                                                                    as you drive along the roads.
                                                                    Early morning shot. The Korean
                                                                    lilacs are also in bloom .....they
                                                                    have such a lovely fragrance.

                                                                              The bees love this!
                                                                  We planted some lupines around the pond
                                                                  a few years ago so they are establishing nicely.



                                                       The garden is changing daily and soon
                                                                 I will have aprox. 100 peonies in bloom
                                                                so I will be taking lots of photos then!
